Bone Marrow Ash ❘ 骨髄の灰	Consumable

In-Game Description Additional medium that strengthens Quicksilver Bullets. According to the workshop, this is a special bone marrow ash collected from Hemwick Charnel Lane. Invaluable to hunters with weak bloodtinge who require the use of stronger firearms. Note 1: The same in-game description in US & UK versions. ✓ Note 2: Original Japanese text on Original Japanese Item Index page. ✓ Effects Bone Marrow Ash greatly increases the power of your next Quick-silver Bullet shot. It can only be used on your left-hand weapon; it won't apply to the shots fired by Reiterpallasch or the Rifle Spear. For weapons that hit multiple times per Quicksilver Bullet, like the Flamesprayer, the bonus is applied to all of the hits for the first bullet. Using Bone Marrow Ash on a strong weapon, like the Cannon or the Repeating Pistol, can result in very high damage. The most damaging single-hit attack in the game is done by using Bone Marrow Ash on a Cannon and shooting a staggered enemy; it can deal well over 4000 damage. Similar damage can be done with a Flamesprayer, Bone Marrow Ash, and an Oil Urn. The main purpose of Bone Marrow Ash is to turn your sidearm into a damaging ranged weapon; guns are normally better-suited to interrupting enemy attacks than dealing serious damage. Bone Marrow changes that. You can only hold 10 at once, and it is worth staying fully-stocked at all times. For dangerous enemies such as Winter Lanterns, a couple of Bone Marrow Ash shots from a pistol or the Cannon from range will make your life a whole lot easier. This is invaluable to all hunters, whether they have weak bloodtinge or not!
