The Bath Messengers are the most straightforward of the game's merchants; they can be found in the lower bath in the Hunter's Dream from the start of the game, and offer you the options to buy and sell items. Their inventory will expand every time you obtain certain key items such as badges or chalices and will carry over to subsequent game cycles, so you'll always be able to obtain particular items from them once you've fulfilled the associated requirement. The Insight Shop can be found in the upper bath outside the middle door of the base building in the Hunter's Dream and, as its name implies, uses insight as its currency rather than blood echoes. In order for the merchant messengers to appear, you must have at least 1 point of insight. Their inventory includes many items not sold by the Bath Messengers and will expand as you obtain badges, explore Chalice Dungeons and defeat certain enemies. Sell... As player explores Chalice Dungeons, s/he'll occasionally encounter a messenger bath similar to the ones found in Hunter's Dream. You can purchase basic consumable items from these shops and, depending upon the dungeons in which player encounters them, they'll will also sell certain Holy Chalices as well. Sell...
