Shaman Bone Blade ❘ 祭祀者の骨の刃	Consumable

In-Game Description A blade of bone coated with gruesome spinal fluid. Used by old labyrinth watchers, in particular, those presiding over rituals. When victim is cut by this blade, the green spinal fluid temporarily numbs the senses, disturbing the target's gross motor skills. The blade, never intended for battle, must cut deep to be effective, and breaks. Note 1: The same in-game description in US & UK versions. ✓ Note 2: Original Japanese text on Original Japanese Item Index page. ✓ Effects When you use a Shaman Bone Blade, your character will perform a very short-ranged stab. If this stab hits a target, it will inflict confusion for ~15 seconds. While confused, the enemy will attack other enemies in their line of sight; even better, other foes will attack the confused enemy, as well! You can only hold three at a time; you have to be very careful when and where you use them, and you have to try not to miss! It works on most enemies, including some bosses. You can use it on ranged opponents, such as the Giant Lost Children, to have them attack other enemies from a distance. Another option is to use a Shaman Bone Blade on a strong enemy that is surrounded by weaker ones to make them gang up on the strong one - especially useful in dungeons. The biggest challenge is actually hitting an enemy with the blade. There are three other items that can help a lot - Blue Elixirs, Lead Elixirs, and Pungent Blood Cocktails. If you are trying to confuse a ranged enemy into attacking its allies, use a Blue Elixir to get close with your Shaman Bone Blade. If you are trying to confuse a melee foe, the Lead Elixir can help you land the hit without being interrupted. You can also use Blood Cocktails to lure beasts away from their masters, hit them with a Shaman Bone Blade, and watch as they literally bite the hand that feeds! Shaman Bone Blade has base AR 20 Phys. with no scaling (datamined). When you inflict enemy AI with Shaman Bone Blade it will attack red & purple adversary players and players can attack back when its effect is active. Shaman Bone Blade breaks even if you miss. Effective in combination with Blue Elixir, Lead Elixir and Pungent Blood Cocktail. Enemies affected by the Shaman Bone Blade will attack stationary gun emplacements (Djura's galtling gun and the cannon in Forbidden Woods). This is due to the gun being fired by an invisible enemy placed inside of it. All enemies and bosses (except hunter enemies) have 999 frenzy resistance, despite that they are still vulnerable to such status. The only way to see it without modding is to use Shaman Bone Blade on enemy inflicting frenzy to attack others. [test video] Tips: Useful when obtaining Rakuyo in Fishing Hamlet making two Giant Fishmen in the well fight each other; Celestial Emissary, Shadow of Yharnam and Living Failures boss fights.
