    rune with clarity.

    Allows a hunter to awaken again without losing Blood
    Echoes, a trick that seems nearly too good to be true.

Effects

  • Using a Bold Hunter's Mark will return you to the last Lamp that you rested it. You won't lose any Blood Echoes, either. This is really useful when you've died once and are having trouble getting back to your Blood Echoes, since dying again would make them disappear forever. It's also useful when you just want a shortcut back to the Hunter's Dream. The item takes around three seconds to use, so if you want to use it to escape combat you'll need to time it carefully.

  • Sword Hunter Badge: You'll acquire the Sword Hunter Badge after defeating the Cleric Beast in Central Yharnam. It adds several useful items to the shop, including Antidotes; they will come in very handy in Old Yharnam, so you might want to face Cleric Beast before you challenge the old city.

Notes

  • Available for purchase after obtaining Sword Hunter Badge.
  • In-game description was slightly different (right) on version 1.0 than what there is now on version 1.09.
  • Full Health with Blood Bullets - Whenever you are about to use Bold Hunter's Mark, convert health into blood bullets and then use it. You will spawn with full health and blood bullets.
  • Instant Connectivity Status - Equip the Bold Hunter's Mark and have it ready in the Quick Items menu. You can use this to check if there's any adversaries or cooperators about to enter your world that would prevent you from accessing the lamp before the discovery message is even mentioned.
  • Load times are 50%+ longer if you die than if you use a Bold Hunter's Mark [evidence].
  • Equivalent of Shard of Archstone from Demon's Souls or Homeward Bone from Dark Souls.
