    One of the badges crafted by the Healing Church.

    The radiant sword indicates the heirs to the will of Ludwig.

    These hunters, also known as Holy Blades, are what remains
    of an ancient line of heroes that date back to a very early
    age of honour and chivalry.

  • The Radiant Sword Hunter Badge is one of the most important badges to collect; obtaining it adds Blood Stone Shards to the shop's inventory, which will allow you to upgrade weapons easily. It also unlocks Fire Paper and Bone Marrow Ash; these are very useful support items.

  • Badges are proof of your achievements and can be shown to the Bath Messengers and Insight Bath Messengers in the Hunter's Dream to expand the shop inventory. You'll sometimes find these valuable relics on the bodies of the fallen, but you may also receive them from other hunters. Obtaining certain badges will add extremely useful and important items to the shop's lineup, so it's worth going out of your way to find them.

  • The Bath Messengers are the most straightforward of the game's merchants; they can be found in the lower bath in the Hunter's Dream from the start of the game, and offer you the options to buy and sell items. By acquiring new badges, the Bath Messengers shop will start filling with new messengers in the bath. Each badge adds unique messenger alongside with new sortiment for you to buy. Radiant Sword Hunter Badge adds Messenger with metal case.

  • The Insight Bath Messengers can be found in the upper bath outside the middle door of the base building in the Hunter's Dream and, as its name implies, uses insight as its currency rather than blood echoes. In order for the merchant messengers to appear, you must have at least 1 point of Insight (required only once).

Availability

  • Treasure in (Main Story): Healing Church Workshop; treasure chest on the top floor of the tower; next to the door to Upper Cathedral Ward. If you need further assistance to find the badge, you can follow the full Healing Church Workshop Map.

Notes

  • Unlocks Ludwig's Holy Blade, Ludwig's Rifle, Flamesprayer, Tomb Prospector Hood, Tomb Prospector Garb, Tomb Prospector Gloves, Tomb Prospector Trousers, Blood Stone Shard, Fire Paper, Bone Marrow Ash, Shining Coins for purchase at Bath Messengers and Fire Paper at Insight Bath Messengers.
  • Upon starting New Game+ Radiant Sword Hunter Badge will stay in your inventory. Other Key Items (except for other Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Ring of Betrothal) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again.
