    A special weapon used by the Choir, high-ranking members
    of the Healing Church.

    Sprays a cloud of sacred mist, created by using blood-
    imbued Quicksilver Bullets as a special medium.

    Arias are heard wherever sacred mist is seen, proving that
    the mist is a heavenly blessing.

Overview

  • The Rosmarinus functions just like the Flamesprayer, but it deals arcane damage instead of fire damage. As a result, its damage cannot be increased with the use of Oil Urns. On the other hand, it scales better with your arcane stat. Rosmarinus is good versus enemies that are weak against arcane damage. You can still use Bone Marrow Ash and staggers to boost the damage of the Rosmarinus, and it can provide a huge boost of damage for characters with a high arcane stat.

  • Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge: This badge can be found in Upper Cathedral Ward. Although you won't be able to reach it until very late, picking it up allows you to purchase Twin Bloodstone Shards from the shop. This will allow you to experiment with a wider variety of weapons. The Sedatives it unlocks are also useful, as any hunter who has stared down a Winter Lantern should know!

Notes

  • Available for purchase after obtaining Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge.
  • Staggering L2 strategy: It's possible to hit an enemy with Rosmarinus twice, while consuming only 1 bullet. To do so, you need to release L2 just before consuming second bullet. Rosmarinus will then fire enough to hit an enemy twice, basically doubling it's damage. If a player just holds L2 longer, for every hit Rosmarinus will roughly consume 1 bullet (or x-1 bullet for x number of hits, at best).
  • Continuous fire will consume 1.4 Quicksilver Bullets per second and doesn't consume stamina, you can walk while firing.
  • Compared to Flamesprayer it fires mist that deal arcane damage and it has much higher arcane scaling. Major drawback is that its damage can't be buffed with Oil.

Special Attack

The Damage stat dictates how much damage the weapon does. The Damage stats for a weapon are V / W / X / Y / Z:

The Requirements determines how high various Stats must be in order to wield the weapon effectively. The Requirement stats for a weapon are W / X / Y / Z:
  • W is the Strength required
  • X is the Skill required
  • Y is the Bloodtinge required
  • Z is the Arcane required
The Stat Bonuses rating indicates the level of bonus you receive based on the associated Stat when you use a weapon. The special attack attributes for a weapon are
W / X / Y / Z:
  • W is the Slow Poison attack
  • X is the Rapid Poison attack
  • Y is the VS. Kin attack
