Badge of the Choir, Healing Church elites

Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge ❘ 星の瞳の狩人証

Key Item

In-Game Description

Badge of a member of the Choir, elites of the Healing
    Church.

The eye signifies the very cosmos.

The Choir stumbled upon an epiphany, very suddenly and
quite by accident. Here we stand, feet planted in the earth,
but might the cosmos be very near us, only just above our
    heads?

  • Although you won't be able to reach Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge until very late, picking it up allows you to purchase Twin Blood Stone Shards from the shop. This will allow you to experiment with a wider variety of weapons. The Sedatives it unlocks are also useful, as any hunter who has stared down a Winter Lantern should know!

  • Badges are proof of your achievements and can be shown to the Bath Messengers and Insight Bath Messengers in the Hunter's Dream to expand the shop inventory. You'll sometimes find these valuable relics on the bodies of the fallen, but you may also receive them from other hunters. Obtaining certain badges will add extremely useful and important items to the shop's lineup, so it's worth going out of your way to find them.

  • The Bath Messengers are the most straightforward of the game's merchants; they can be found in the lower bath in the Hunter's Dream from the start of the game, and offer you the options to buy and sell items. By acquiring new badges, the Bath Messengers shop will start filling with new messengers in the bath. Each badge adds unique messenger alongside with new sortiment for you to buy. Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge adds Messenger clapping at the back.

  • The Insight Bath Messengers can be found in the upper bath outside the middle door of the base building in the Hunter's Dream and, as its name implies, uses insight as its currency rather than blood echoes. In order for the merchant messengers to appear, you must have at least 1 point of Insight (required only once).

Availability

  • Treasure in (Main Story): Upper Cathedral Ward; you'll find this badge on a corpse on the base floor in the Orphanage. If you need further assistance to find the badge, you can follow the full Upper Cathedral Ward Map.

Notes

  • Unlocks Rosmarinus, Sedative, Poison Knife and Twin Blood Stone Shards for purchase at Bath Messengers and Blue Elixir and Beast Blood Pellet for purchase at Insight Bath Messengers.
  • Upon starting New Game+ Cosmic Eye Watcher Badge will stay in your inventory. Other Key Items (except for other Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Ring of Betrothal) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again.
