Tiny Tonitrus ❘ 小さなトニトルス	Arcane Item

In-Game Description Tonitrus is a unique weapon crafted by Archibald, the infamous eccentric of the Healing Church workshop. This is a similar morning star mace that utilizes Quicksilver Bullets. When struck into the ground, it recreates the blue sparks that are said to surround the darkbeasts. Like Archibald's masterpiece, this too is a superb conductor of the powerful blue sparks. Note 1: The same in-game description in US & UK versions. ✓ Note 2: Original Japanese text on Original Japanese Item Index page. ✓ Effects Tiny Tonitrus requires 25 points of the arcane to use and costs 6 bullets each time you use it. It deals bolt damage and scales with an S rating in arcane. It fires a linear series of lightning bolts directly in front of you. This lightning can climb some small objects and will travel a fixed distance before stopping. The damage is pure bolt, so enemies weak against that element will take more damage than usual from Tiny Tonitrus. The best use of this item involves luring your foes into a narrow corridor or onto a narrow walkway; as they line up you can fire your spell and hit them all! Since it has an S rating, the damage actually continues to increase noticeably all the way to 99 points of arcane. This can't be increased by gem effects such as Fool or Odd Bolt, however. Availability Treasure in (Main Story): Yahar'gul, Unseen Village (Blood Moon); in Holding Cell guarded by Huntman's Minion on path from Sacrifice Square. Tiny Tonitrus is especially effective against Celestial Emissary boss in Upper Cathedral Ward and when farming Blood Echoes in Lecture Building's hall where Scholars make a straight line ideal for this arcane tool, dropping QS bullets in the process.
