Snail Woman (Shell) ❘ 養殖人貝	Regular Enemy

These odd enemies are found only in and around the subterranean aquaculture farms beyond the lighthouse in the Fishing Hamlet; the subtype living in large spiral shells are immobile and can be picked off with almost complete impunity, but those without shells are considerably more mobile and can become troublesome in groups. Both variants have very low HP and defense, but you'll usually have to deal with them in large numbers due to the tight quarters in which you'll encounter them. In certain spots they can be found hanging from rafters and will drop down to attack as you pass by, so keep your eyes not only on the path ahead of you, but the space above you as well.

Some of the giant snail shells scattered throughout the underground farms in the Fishing Hamlet are inhabited by the slug-like creatures found in the same area. This variant is nearly immobile owing to the weight of their shells; they will attack with flaccid horizontal arm swipes at close range and will also occasionally rear up off the ground to perform a grab. The damage they incur will be drastically reduced if an attack strikes their shells; the full amount will only be dealt by direct hits to the white slug body.

Thrust attacks are the easiest way to target these enemies' weak point, but most weapons have at least one move which can be used for this purpose and if all else fails, jump attacks will suffice in a pinch. Stay just outside the target's melee range until after it finishes swinging, then move in and strike from the front. Both the arm swipes and the grab attack can be avoided with a sideways or backward quickstep, at which point a chain of well-placed (R1) swings will settle matters once and for all.

All enemies and bosses (except hunter enemies) have 999 frenzy resistance, despite that they are still vulnerable to such status. The only way to see it without modding is to use Shaman Bone Blade on enemy inflicting frenzy to attack others. [test video]

Snail Women are completely immune to bolt damage type due to their Bolt DMG multiplier being 0. They will take no damage from bolt only converted weapons, Bolt Paper will have no flat damage benefit and Tiny Tonitrus will yield no damage as well.

During Snail Woman (Shell) grab attack animation, damage can NOT be reduced by repeatedly pressing buttons (mashing).

In the event that happens in Hunter's Nightmare where Snail Woman falls from the sky after Bloody Plaza, there is a bug where you can revive Snail Woman by using the Madaras Whistle on her. Despite model being "alive", she has no AI and is not hostile towards you.

	Pungent Blood Cocktails don't attract this enemy, making the item ineffective.
	Shaman Bone Blades affect this enemy, making it hostile to other enemies.
