In Game Description Badge crafted long ago at the Workshop. Attests to one's prowess as a hunter of beasts. The Workshop is gone, and no group recognises this meaningless badge, except the messengers in the bath, who understand its profundity. Certain things can only be entrusted with a hunter in possession of this badge, or so they believe. In addition to unlocking the basic hunter weapons at the shop, Saw Hunter Badge will make Throwing Knives and Pungent Blood Cocktails available for sale, providing you with a backup source of ranged attacks and an extremely helpful means of distracting beast-type enemies and hostile hunters. Badges are proof of your achievements and can be shown to the Bath Messengers and Insight Bath Messengers in the Hunter's Dream to expand the shop inventory. You'll sometimes find these valuable relics on the bodies of the fallen, but you may also receive them from other hunters. Obtaining certain badges will add extremely useful and important items to the shop's lineup, so it's worth going out of your way to find them. The Bath Messengers are the most straightforward of the game's merchants; they can be found in the lower bath in the Hunter's Dream from the start of the game, and offer you the options to buy and sell items. By acquiring new badges, the Bath Messengers shop will start filling with new messengers in the bath. Each badge adds unique messenger alongside with new sortiment for you to buy. Saw Hunter Badge adds Messenger with vial of blue liquid. Availability Treasure in (Main Story): Central Yharnam; you'll find this badge on a corpse beside the Maneater Boar tunnel in the aqueduct. If you need further assistance to find the badge, you can follow the full Central Yharnam Map. Notes Unlocks Saw Cleaver, Saw Spear, Threaded Cane, Hunter Axe, Hunter Pistol, Hunter Blunderbuss, Throwing Knife and Throwing Knife for purchase at Bath Messengers. Upon starting New Game+ Saw Hunter Badge will stay in your inventory. Other Key Items (except for other Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Ring of Betrothal) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again.
