Blood of Adella ❘ アデーラの血	Consumable

In-Game Description

Blood take from Adella, nun of the Healing Church.
Restores an amount of HP, then continues to gradually
restore HP for a short time.

The Healing Church nuns are chosen for their merit as
vessels for blood, and groomed as Blood Saints.

The mere chance of being treated with their blood lends
legitimacy to the Healing Church and communion.

Effects

In order to obtain the Blood of Adella, you must first rescue Adella from the Unseen Village and send her to Oedon Chapel. At Oedon Chapel, she will give you her blood. You can only hold one, though, and she won't give it to you if you already have the Blood of Arianna or Blood of Adeline. This item cannot be stored.

The Blood of Adella is a very useful defensive item. It heals you for 25% of your HP and then it continues to gradually heal you for 20 seconds. Of course this can help a lot in boss battles, but there are other really interesting situational uses, too. Chikage wielders can use this to offset the damage from transformed mode, for example. Another tactic is to use the Blood of Adella as a Blood Bullet generator; you can shoot all your Blood Bullets and create more several times while the Blood of Adella continues to heal you!

In-game Testing: Gradual healing starts after initial animation ends, then continues for 20 seconds. Vial heals 5 HP every 3 frames, making it 50 HP healed every second. Blood of Adella will, after initial 25% heal, gradually recover 1000 HP in total.

Self Buff Limitation: Just as you can apply only one buff for the weapons, you cannot have more than one self buff active at the same time. Only exception is Beasthood generated by the Beast Claw. Therefore you can't combine effects of the items such as Arcane Items Messenger's Gift and Old Hunter Bone. Consumables Beast Blood Pellet, Blue Elixir, Lead Elixir and even special blood vials with self buff effect like Blood of Adeline, Blood of Adella, Blood of Arianna. So beware when going into the fight that you can't use two of before mentioned items and "cannot use" animation will be performed when trying so which can cost you the fight.

Acquired from: Blood of Adella [Unlimited], speak to Adella, Nun of the Healing Church in Cathedral Ward Oedon Chapel, after loading the area when not already carrying her vial, Blood of Arianna or Blood of Adeline.

Notes

Cannot be stored in the Storage.

You can only have either Blood of Adella, Blood of Arianna or Blood of Adeline in your inventory at the same time.

Radiance Oath rune effect increases the amount of HP your vials heal, this also affects special vials Blood of Adeline, Blood of Adella, Blood of Arianna and Iosefka's Blood Vial.
