Old Hunter Henryk ❘ 古狩人ヘンリック	Hunter Enemy

Description Henryk is the first opponent you'll help Eileen defeat over the course of her quest, and she'll fight alongside you during the battle either from the start or after a brief period of time depending upon when you initiate the encounter. Henryk uses a Saw Cleaver and Hunter Pistol, and will sometimes toss a Throwing Knife at you from a distance. He is wildly aggressive and extremely trigger-happy, and will blindly rush you down with quick R1 combos and transformation attacks. If you get far enough away from Henryk during the fight he'll occasionally use the Roar gesture, giving you an opportunity to dash in for a few free hits. If he scores an interrupt on you, he'll often follow up with a charged R2 strike rather than a visceral attack. Stats & Equipment Tables below consist of datamined stats and equipment, this specific information is for NPCs, hunters or less, that uses a player-like human model and skeleton, practically every NPC that can be equipped with player's gears. Some characters are equipped with items that they aren't programmed to use by the AI, such items are highlighted. All characters have infinite Quicksilver Bullets and 99 copies of any item they hold (including Blood Vials) and the only thing that prevents from infinitely consuming them is written in their AI script. Character Equipment (Items) Data Throwing Knife (used) None - None - None - Strategy Take advantage of Henryk's single-minded aggression and lead him straight into an R1 combo from a weapon with wide horizontal swings such as the Hunter Axe or the Saw Spear; alternately, back away from and wait for him to take a swing at you, then interrupt him and perform a visceral attack. When Eileen joins the fight, you can use her as a distraction and hit Henryk from behind with a charged R2 strike and follow up with either a visceral attack or another charged blow. The tombstones in the area can be used to obstruct his gunshots but may also impede your ability to evade; if the terrain becomes a problem, lure Henryk up the stairs and fight him in the open area in front of the gate. Old Hunter Summon With patch v1.07 a wide variety of new and existing NPCs have been added to the main game, the Old Hunters areas and the Chalice Dungeons to aid you during the hunt, particularly during boss fights. The conditions for summoning these allies vary; the “Old Hunter Bell” is a universal requirement for calling any of them. Location Requirement 1. Shadow of Yharnam in Forbidden Woods He will not appear unless you have defeated him at the Tomb of Oedon (also Eileen has to survive the fight as part of her quest line) and are wearing the "Impurity" rune. If you head straight to Father Gascoigne's boss area after Eileen warns you about Henryk, he will attack you immediately and Eileen will arrive partway through the battle to assist you. If you reload the game after receiving Eileen's warning, she will already be fighting Henryk when you arrive. During Eileen's Henryk hunt Tomb of Oedon lamp is unlit and becomes unavailable until lit again. It is however still possible to respawn at this lamp, awaken at Tomb of Oedon after killing Blood-starved Beast, go through the Healing Church Workshop or use Hunter Chief Emblem and open all three gates in Cathedral Ward, then immediately find Eileen and talk to her, which triggers Henryk to spawn. Then die, the result is that you spawn right back at Tomb of Oedon lamp, and Henryk immediately charges you!

Pungent Blood Cocktails don't attract this enemy, making the item ineffective. Shaman Bone Blades affect this enemy, making it hostile to other enemies.
