Lunarium Key ❘ 月見台の鍵	Key Item

In-Game Description Key to the lunarium facing the lake on the second floor of Byrgenwerth College. In his final years, Master Willem was fond of the lookout, and the rocking chair that he kept there for meditation. In the end, it is said, he left his secret with the lake. Lunarium Key opens the door to the terrace on the second floor, allowing access to Provost Willem and the Moonside Lake. Provost Willem, the old master of Byrgenwerth College, can be found sitting in his favorite rocking chair out on the Lunarium, gazing up to the moon. Talking to him will only cause him to utter the faintest of groans, while using his cane to point to towards the lake. There is little else to be gained from Provost Willem, so you can kill him if you wish. Doing so will reward you with the Eye Caryll Rune, which significantly increases your Discovery rate. Following Provost Willem's directions, however, is advised; if you walk to the end of the Lunarium and look down into the lake you'll notice some mysterious ripples emanating from an area of the lake below. To find out just what secrets are hidden below the surface, take the plunge and jump right in. Availability Treasure in (Main Story): Byrgenwerth; you'll find this key lying on the corner of a shelf on the third floor of College as you explore the observatory. If you need further assistance to find the key, you can follow the full Byrgenwerth Map. Before going back down and unlocking the door, however, it's worth continuing up the stairs to the top floor and killing the Garden of Eyes there, so that you can get the Empty Phantasm Shell. Notes Upon starting New Game+ all of the Key Items (except for Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Yharnam Stone) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again. Patch 1.02 fixes the issue of not being able to obtain the "Lunarium Key" once the user partakes in online multiplayer as a co-operative guest by using the "Small Resonant Bell" or as a hostile guest by using the "Sinister Resonant Bell" in the area, "Forbidden Woods."
