Basic Information

  • On this page you will find gallery of all weapons with save-edited buff effect provided from "self-buffed" weapons such as Holy Moonlight Sword, Logarius' Wheel, Boom Hammer and Tonitrus. This edited effect is possible only in transformed mode with exception of Tonitrus buff which can apply in both forms. Also it can't be applied on weapons that have a regular buff in transformed mode. As long as the weapon is in transformed mode and the buff applying weapon is in the off-hand, the buff stays on, but doesn't increase the AR, nor is displayed on enemies. As soon as the weapon leaves its transformed mode, the buff disappears.
  • Exception is Logarius' Wheel Buff which will cut physical damage and boost the elemental scalings, like the wheel does. In testing, all weapons were using Transformed R1s from a max level character. Gems (if used) are stated in the test results: Beast Cutter (no gems +10) Transformed: no buff: 276, with buff: 178; Parasite (+0) Transformed: no buff: 40, with buff: 310; HMLS (+0) Transformed: no buff: 127, with buff: 224; Rakuyo (+10 with 23.9% fire: 164+151) Transformed: no buff: 220, with buff: 314; Boom Hammer (+10 no gems) Transformed: no buff: 445, with buff: 385 (with fire gems on this, the damage would skyrocket); Chikage (+0) Transformed: no buff: 93, with buff: 55.
  • There is a way to apply the Holy Moonlight Sword, Boom Hammer, and Logarius' Wheel's buffs onto other weapons with their own buffs. In order to do this, you must first equip the weapon in your right hand that had a conflicting buff, then toggle your left hand weapon to the buff, and transform. On weapons like the Boom Hammer (in right hand), you would need to transform then swap, as usual. The workaround is effective until you reload the area, die, swap right-hand weapons (in which case, you would simply swap buffs again), or in some cases, interact with world items such as gates, levers, lamps, etc. The buff is not removed even through re-transforming, or transforming attacks. It does cause a fair dent in the frame rate if the Boom Hammer is used on the Logarius' Wheel, since the visual is applied to certain spots of a weapon: in most cases the hitboxes of it.
