In-Game Description Badge crafted by the Oto Workshop, precursor to the workshop of the heretical Powder Kegs. The Powder Kegs were driven by singular ideas, and crafted strange weapons of great intricacy. It is clear that the philosophy of the Powder Kegs was already established at this time. Although Firing Hammer Badge does not add many items to your shop lineup, if you're a trophy hunter or a completionist it's still quite important, because it's the only way you can gain access to the Piercing Rifle. Badges are proof of your achievements and can be shown to the Bath Messengers and Insight Bath Messengers in the Hunter's Dream to expand the shop inventory. You'll sometimes find these valuable relics on the bodies of the fallen, but you may also receive them from other hunters. Obtaining certain badges will add extremely useful and important items to the shop's lineup, so it's worth going out of your way to find them. The Bath Messengers are the most straightforward of the game's merchants; they can be found in the lower bath in the Hunter's Dream from the start of the game, and offer you the options to buy and sell items. By acquiring new badges, the Bath Messengers shop will start filling with new messengers in the bath. Each badge adds unique messenger alongside with new sortiment for you to buy. Firing Hammer Badge will not add any new messenger despite adding new stuff in the shop. Availability Dropped by (Old Hunters DLC): Bestial Hunter in Hunter's Nightmare, found at the dead end where Gilbert's house would be located in Central Yharnam. Proceed through the Hunter's Nightmare, once you reach Grand Cathedral go through the tunnel to your right and across the turret bridge. Enter the dark house, follow downstairs and to the left you will find the hunter upstairs. Notes This Item is part of The Old Hunters DLC. Unlocks Piercing Rifle, Delayed Molotov and Delayed Rope Molotov for purchase at Bath Messengers. Upon starting New Game+ Firing Hammer Badge will stay in your inventory. Other Key Items (except for other Badges, Blood Gem Workshop Tool, Rune Workshop Tool, Short Ritual Root Chalice, Workshop Haze Extractor and Ring of Betrothal) you acquired on your previous playthrough will be stripped away and you'll need to collect them again.
