Bigoted Old Man ❘ 偏屈な男	NPC

Description Seemingly paranoid resident of Cathedral Ward. Doesn't trust the player, nor anyone else. The Bigoted Old Man lives across the street from Arianna in the Foggy Alley of the Cathedral Ward. He's just an ordinary citizen of Yharnam, complete with the endemic suspicious streak, and wants nothing to do with you until he overhears you direct his neighbor Arianna to a place of refuge. At this point he'll challenge you to convince him that he should follow her; he'll make a show of rejecting anything you say no matter how many times you say it, but when he thinks you're not looking, he'll sneak off to the location opposite the one you suggest. If he ends up in the chapel, he'll remain there for the rest of the game and occasionally offer a few new lines of dialogue, but won't provide any other rewards. Location Cathedral Ward, in foggy alleyway near the round plaza, same street where Arianna is located. Bigoted old man also offers dialogue from indoors. Cathedral Ward Outside Oedon Chapel, after telling him about this (opposite) safe place. Iosefka's Clinic 1st Floor [in form of Small Celestial Emissary], after telling him about this (opposite) safe place. Stats & Equipment Tables below consist of datamined stats and equipment, this specific information is for NPCs, hunters or less, that uses a player-like human model and skeleton, practically every NPC that can be equipped with player's gears. Some characters are equipped with items that they aren't programmed to use by the AI, such items are highlighted. All characters have infinite Quicksilver Bullets and 99 copies of any item they hold (including Blood Vials) and the only thing that prevents from infinitely consuming them is written in their AI script. Cathedral Ward Foggy Alley [Evening / Night] Speak to him after telling Arianna about one of the two refuges and you'll be able to inform him of them as well. Note that you can access his dialogue prompt multiple times before leaving the area, and he will move to the OPPOSITE location of the one you last selected (for example, if you tell him about the clinic, he'll go to the chapel instead). If he ends up at the clinic, he'll disappear from the game and his quest will end. Beware! You have to send Bigoted Old Man to the safe place before the Blood Moon. Once Blood Moon came out, you will get message from his window "No response". 2. Cathedral Ward Oedon Chapel [Evening / Night / Blood Moon] If you send him to the chapel, he will remain there for the rest of the game and complain about you or occasionally one of the other refugees. Apart from a few new lines of dialogue as the night progresses, he will not offer you any items or other rewards. Safe Place Rewards ► Send to Oedon Chapel If sent as first refugee into Oedon Chapel in Cathedral Ward, Oedon Chapel Dweller will reward you with "Triumph" gesture. Additionally you will receive new lines of dialogue. ► Send to Iosefka's Clinic Impostor Iosefka will reward you with 2x Numbing Mist. ► Afflicted Beggar in Oedon Chapel When Bigoted Old Man is killed by Afflicted Beggar, he will reward you with 3x Beast Blood Pellet. Drops Pungent Blood Cocktail x3 [100%] Notes You can direct Old Man to a safe place multiple times before reloading the area, so if you made mistake you can talk to him again and tell him to go to the different safe place. To meet Old Man directly in Oedon Chapel, player should tell him about Iosefka's Clinic. Old man's advices given in Oedon Chapel are false and opposite of what is really happening He will not drop Blood Dreg when Corruption Oath Caryll rune is equipped.
