Large Crawler ❘ 這いよるもの（大）	Strong Enemy

Larger and tougher than the ordinary Crawlers, these bizarre creatures are found only in the poison swamps of the Nightmare Frontier alongside their smaller kin. They hit harder and have more health, but behave in very much the same way as the smaller version, except that they can occasionally send a cloud of poison your way which will inflict Rapid Poison. Large Crawlers have high physical defense and cannot be interrupted or staggered, but are weak against bolt damage and thrust attacks. Large Crawlers cannot attack behind them, although it can be difficult to determine which part of them is "behind"; when in doubt, remember that they'll always face you head-on, so you can simply allow them to pursue you for a few moments and quickstep around to the far side of their bodies. In this position you'll be safe from all of their attacks and can freely use your strongest thrusts or charged R2 swings, but beware of any other Crawlers in the vicinity and keep an eye out for boulders thrown by Giant Lost Children.

Use ranged attacks to get their attention, and wait for them to pursue you onto dry land, where you can fight without the disadvantages of standing ankle-deep in poisonous sludge. In close combat, do your best to stay behind them - their Tentacle Combo inflicts heavy damage and can be very dangerous if you become trapped in it. Use thrust attacks against them if possible; the Rifle Spear's charged R2 attack is an ideal choice, due to its combination of range and damage Large Crawlers move extremely slowly and are easily outrun if you want to ignore them; their individual tentacle attacks can be avoid by quickstepping forward or sideways and as long as you keep moving, their Poison Gas (Rapid Poison) will never touch you.

All enemies and bosses (except hunter enemies) have 999 frenzy resistance, despite that they are still vulnerable to such status. The only way to see it without modding is to use Shaman Bone Blade on enemy inflicting frenzy to attack others. [test video]

Interesting fact is that bottom part of Crawlers has Messengers sticking out from their body

	Pungent Blood Cocktails don't attract this enemy, making the item ineffective.
	Shaman Bone Blades affect this enemy, making it hostile to other enemies.
