Returning to areas featured in the early Project Beast and Bloodborne trailers reveals that aspects of their design has changed.

Hemwick Changes

► Hemwick is displayed using a daytime lighting effect that the retail release only uses in the "Yharnam Sunrise" ending. The rising sun is visible on the horizon, and Yharnam itself cannot be seen.		► The large open area of Hemwick has remained largely unchanged, but the obelisk that summons the carriage is not present.

		► Like Yharnam, Cainhurst cannot be seen from Hemwick.

► Vicar Amelia appears in the Witch of Hemwick's boss room. The wooden beam that crosses the room is not present.		► In an early Bloodborne trailer, the large statue of a woman with a spade is not present in Hemwick.

Cathedral Ward Changes

► The lighting on the stairs leading to the Grand Cathedral is very different, using a higher contrast and more greens and yellows.

The barrier behind it is not properly textured, and the eagle gargoyle has been rotated ninety degrees.

Comparing this with the retail release shows that more sandbags, oil urns and grass were added to Old Yharnam. The sun and clouds are also of a different design.
