Fishing Hamlet Priest ❘

NPC

Description

  • A priest of the Fishing Hamlet and survivor of a raid by the hunters long ago. The raid left many of the hamlet's residents and their guardian Great One, Kos dead; in retribution, the remaining villagers laid curse of blood upon the hunters and their descendants. Although he normally wanders around the hamlet outskirts muttering baneful chants and will not acknowledge your presence, speaking to him with the Milkweed rune equipped will enable him to identify you as a kindred spirit, at which point he will reward you with the Accursed Brew and go back to wandering around. Note that while the priest has a standard HP value, he is technically invincible and cannot be killed or turned hostile.

Location

  • Fishing Hamlet Hamlet Causeway when you enter the area from the Astral Clocktower.

Progression

Notes

  • This NPC is part of The Old Hunters DLC.
  • Even if Priest falls down into the deep water he will not die and will wander in the city at bottom.
  • He will not drop Blood Dreg when Corruption Oath Caryll rune is equipped.
  • If he has objects, like stacked empty shells, in his way he will try to perform lighting spell like Fishman Mage (Staff).

Curse here, curse there. A curse for he, and she, why care. A bottomless curse, a bottomless sea, source of all greatness, all things that be. Listen for the baneful chants. Weep with them, as one in trance. And weep with us, oh, weep with us...

Talk again (Milkweed equipped)
Listen for the baneful chants. A call to the bloodless, wherever they be. A call to the bloodless, wherever they be. Fix your ears, to hear our call.
