Flowers Glowing In The Blood Moon Phase

  • Moonlight causes the flowers in the Hunter's Dream to glow but only after Blood Moon is triggered. Before Blood Moon the flowers all look dull and evenly lit from all angles, even though you can still see a moon in the Hunter's Dream moonlight doesn't affect the flowers in anyway.

  • But once you enter the blood-moon phase the flowers react to the moonlight in the dream. If you look at the flowers with the moon behind your camera (not character) you will see the flowers glowing. From the opposite perspective, with the camera in direct line of sight with the moon they don't glow as much, and look similar to the flowers pre-blood moon. [Source]

Before Blood Moon

After Blood Moon

  • Pre-blood moon angle 1
  • Post-blood moon angle 1, notice the flowers are not just brighter but glowing slightly
  • Pre-blood moon angle 2
  • Post-blood moon angle 2 - I'm showing this angle because the flowers don't glow as much if at all, but they do when you look at them with the moon behind the camera. It seems as if moonlight makes them glow, so this angle would be somewhat like the shadow side of an object being lit. Note that also pre blood moon it makes no difference which angle you look at the flowers, they're all lit the same.
  • Pre-blood moon angle 3 - this is just proof of phase
  • Post-blood moon angle 3 - this is just proof of phase

Flower Flower
  • [reddit] Lilium longiflorum, the Easter Lily: The flowers are a little like Lilium longiflorum, the Easter Lily. Though, Lilium longiflorum has 6 petals, not 7. The flower most commonly associated with funeral services in the popular mind is the lily. Lilies are often interpreted as a symbol of the innocence that has been restored to the soul of the departed. A white stargazer lily symbolizes sympathy and any type of white lily expresses majesty and purity. Also the flowers represent the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Moreover, according to pious legend, "after Jesus' death and resurrection, some of these beautiful flowers were found growing in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus went to pray the night before His crucifixion. Legend has it that these flowers sprung up where drops of Jesus' sweat fell as he prayed" (Wikipedia)
  • [reddit] White Crocus: White color means - Purity, Innocence and Truth. Greek Legend: According to Greek legend, Crocus was the name of a Greek noble youth who feel deeply in love with Smilax, a beautiful shepherdess. When the gods forbade his marriage to Smilax, poor Crocus killed himself in deep sorrow. Upon discovering his death, Smilax was heart-broken and could not stop crying. The Goddess Flora took pity on the distraught Smilax and turned them both into plants. Crocus was turned into the crocus flower while Smilax was turned into a vine. It is said that the Greeks used the vines to weave together garlands of crocus flowers as wedding decorations. (Wikipedia)
Flower Flower
  • [reddit] Flannel Flower: Its generic name, meaning "furnished with rays", is derived from the Greek stem aktin-/ακτιν- "ray" or "spoke of a wheel" or "sunbeam", while its specific epithet is derived from its resemblance to the genus Helianthus. (Wikipedia)
  • [reddit] Ornithogalum, starflower: The common name of the genus, Star-of-Bethlehem, is based on its star-shaped flowers, after the Star of Bethlehem that appeared in the biblical account of the birth of Jesus. (Wikipedia)
