In-Game Description The inhabitants of the stump appear to have an interest in adornment. Why not let them be happy, and revel as babes? Overview Use the Stump Messenger to customize the appearance of messengers that appear in the field. After acquiring a messenger accessory, show it to the stump messenger, and thereafter all messengers will adorn that accessory. Location Side Garden in Hunter's Dream in a small tree stump, messengers will appear once you pick any of the adornments. Adornments Black Messenger Hat, treasure in Cathedral Ward. Red Messenger Ribbon, complete Gascoigne daughter's quest. Worn Messenger Top Hat, treasure in Hunter's Dream (DLC). Messenger Top Hat, treasure in Healing Church Workshop. Yharnam Messenger Hat, treasure in Hunter's Dream (DLC). Messenger Urn Festival, treasure in Cathedral Ward. Messenger Head Bandage, treasure in Hunter's Dream (DLC). Bloody Messenger Head Bandage, treasure in Old Yharnam. White Messenger Ribbon, complete Gascoigne daughter's quest. Notes Examining the stump reveals that Messengers may reside there, but you won't actually find them there until later visits.
